gonna get some seed in the ground this weekend myself ...

we have a guy that cuts our roads an plows our plots just so he can turkey hunt in the spring ........ pretty sweet deal !!;););)
 
Have you had any luck with the turnips? Last year I think ours got to much water and never did anything,I am thinking of planting them where the water will drain away faster.
 
I just got a new lease so I will be planting some soon. I have no idea yet of what to plant, but I will
figure it out. Everybody around here tells me peas but I am not sure. I thought of doing 5 different things
to see what works the best.

Anybody else do multiple plots with different plants?
 
Planted Saturday and Monday. It's not as big as we wanted but it was a lot of work with a tiller.

Planted wheat, oats, peas, turnips, clover and rye grass.

It is all in the same area but we have 3 sections.
One is wheat, oats, peas, turnips and rye grass.
The second section is wheat, oats and peas.
The third is clover and turnips.
