Been raining steadily all day here in Villa Rica. My rain gauge is at 3+" already. Wind is not too awful bad. Been gusty at times but nothing alarming yet. The worst part of it is yet to come though.

I'm hunting for things to do around the house while it's raining. Once it clears up, I'll be in the woods.
I wouldn't worry about the umbrella noise. I've used one on numerous occasions and never had a deer look up. It doesn't sound much different than the raindrops striking the foliage or ground cover.
