Checked out this shop in Jasper. Nice friendly staff and a good selection of weapons. Now I will be torn between Cherokee Gun and Pawn and Appalachian. I suspect both will be getting my money.

I believe the owner is a member here ralph fitts if im not mistaken. Ive been there before bought some parts for my shotgun

I saw a 9mm Shield for $399. Really nice folks. They have GCO shirts(not all sizes as I am out of several sizes) for $10.
Was there today for the first time. Nice place with plenty of inventory.
HA!! After I saw this post I stopped in there and looked at a Kriss Vector pistol they had. They wanted $1900 for it........then I went home and looked at Gunbroker and there it was, but on GB there they only wanted $1750!!! Normally they would give walk in a better price then gunbroker but not this place so I will pass. Also had to wait for the sales person to stop using his phone/text to show me the gun.
I went in there once and asked for a price on threading the barrel of a bull barrel Rem 700 .308. I was quoted 50 bucks to thread it and then another 50 for the flash hider I picked out. SO...a week later I brought the rifle in and was told it would be 125 to thread it and 60 for the hider. I told them what I was quoted a week ago and basically was called a liar. So...I don't go there anymore and yes...their prices on everything in the store are on the high end of high.
OH NO..wait! before I soil this places reputation...I may be thinking of the wrong place! Going north, is this the gun shop on the right just before Ellijay with all the stuffed safari animals and the onsight gunsmith? This is the place I'm talking about...or there is a new shop down closer to Jasper that would be on the left if you are going north. I haven't checked them out yet and apologize for the mistake if it's the other place.

ahhh been meaning to stop by there but always seem to be in a rush and at about 70 when I go by.
