OH NO..wait! before I soil this places reputation...I may be thinking of the wrong place! Going north, is this the gun shop on the right just before Ellijay with all the stuffed safari animals and the onsight gunsmith? This is the place I'm talking about...or there is a new shop down closer to Jasper that would be on the left if you are going north. I haven't checked them out yet and apologize for the mistake if it's the other place.

yes, the one you are thinking is just south of Ellijay on 515 and is a place I do not visit either. I went there for a Sig 938 magazine, they did not have any but they had a 238 with a price marked $75.00 with a note that said "list price", then a line thru that and a price of $62.00. I happened to know that the "list price" of a Sig 238 mag is $46.00. This was soon after Sandy, I also saw their generic AR mags for way inflated prices, in the $45+ range. I remember asking if that was for 3 LOL, those type of mags normally would sell for no more then $15.00!! So no, I will not shop there, a place that jumps prices on in stock items after a headline causes panic.

yes, heading North it is on the left, next to Roco's pub and a tattoo place. So one stop shopping, you can get a drink, a tattoo and a gun!! Or you can get a tattoo of a gun and a drink......

Very good people in there! Always willing to work with you and very fair. Yeah their prices on some items are higher than other places but they are a smaller store and a BUSINESS they have to make their money.

Hey, this is the owner of Appalachian Gun and Pawn, I am glad to see so many good things said about my store. I try to do the best I can with my prices and hope that I can continue to do better. I am sorry about my 15 year old son, as all other teenagers, he is stuck in his phone, and I promise that will not happen again. As far as the price on my Kriss goes, I am always negotiable and would be willing to take that gunbroker price. Also, my Kriss comes with the case, 4 extended 30 round mags, and 1 13 round mag, but as I said, I am negotiable. I hope to continue to see good things about my store and look forward to doing business with everyone that comes in here. RCM1987, Thanks for being in my store and pointing this thread out.
