MARIETTA, Ga. —
Marietta police say their officers came under fire during a SWAT situation at a gun store.
Police say a break-in was reported at the Deercreek gun store early Tuesday morning on South Fairground Street and South Marietta Parkway.
When officers arrived at the scene, they said they saw movement inside the business.
SWAT was called in to assist.
Investigators told Channel 2’s Audrey Washingtonthey first arrested two suspects from the store rooftop. As those suspects were taken into custody, authorities say someone from inside the store started shooting at police.
Gunfire was exchanged between that suspect and police. No one was hit and that suspect was taken into custody.
The stand-off ended just before 9 a.m.
One suspect was slightly injured when he jumped off the roof before being apprehended.
