The AK is reliable but notoriously inaccurate when compared to the AR. I have sub MOA with a 16" AR carbine; I don't know many AKs that can do that.

Found the Sig 516 for $1014 on Tombstone. However, I may be in the dog house if I spend that much, but oh well right...
10-4. I knew it was not accurate, but never thought about the tolerances. Makes sense. Although watching the torture test on the 516 is what sold me. Would a gas system be as reliable in the given terms I spoke of above?

Flattery will get you everywhere. Besides, Sig's QC isn't what I would call stellar at the moment and I have been advised by several to stay away from their current products due to that. Besides, the Colt in my opinion will serve you better, and if you do decide to sell it you're resale value is going to hold better then with the Sig and your options in parts is much greater as well.
