This post is exactly what my son has been looking for. He's 13 and just started his first build. He's already completed the lower and want's to start on the upper. He plans on building a standard M4 profile upper. So far, he has some carbine length hand guards but that's it. I think he has a whopping $50 saved so far. Anything you have would be much appreciated. Here's a pic of him measuring the trigger pull with a fish scale
