AR question

I have a 16.5 inch Bushy M-4, Its denting the spent cases upon firing. Like a small dash near the bottom of the casing, I think its the deflector lug causing the dent. Will a heavy buffer help solve this problem? Thanks

Have you tried a piece of self adhesive felt on the deflector? I have a friend that put's it on all his to prevent the brass from scuffing the deflector.

Mine does the same thing. It really irks my buddy... Having access to a lot of once fired brass, but he won't use any of the dented ones.

ok it will try that...but im wondering if i put in a heavy buffer will it stop the dents? or is the extraction angle a bolt characteristic
