AR upper ?

I have a Tactical Innovations upper that I am building. The question I have, is the barrel extension has the M4 feed ramps and I want to extend the feed ramp cuts down to the upper? I found one YouTube video of a guy using a dremel to make the cut. I'm not sure if I want to do that. I'd rather get some feed back from you guys before I make a huge mistake. I was going to build a rifle length upper, however the only barrel I could acquire was a carbine length. From what I have read the rifle length AR15 works fine with out the M4 feed ramps. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Use an m4 barrel extension with a receiver with an m4 cut, rifle extension with rifle cut upper. Anything else is less than optimal.

I would put it together and see how it cycles before thinking about grinding on your upper. Especially when finding another upper (for a good price) is all but impossible.

a barrel with m4 cuts in a receiver without m4 cuts = should work fine

a barrel with no m4 cuts in a receiver WITH m4 cuts = problems.
