I believe this is my first post here, so hopefully it is in the right spot.
Do any of you have any experience with a buffer piston in an AR10/308(depending on what arms sit you look at)? Shoulder fatigue isn't a concern for me but my primary interest in this purchase is for my wife's shoulder and quicker target acquisition. I have used this piston in a 5.56 platform and it worked like a dream. My concern is the only one I have found is supposed to work for the 5.56 and .308 platform. Seems like they should be different, or maybe I'm not looking in the right place? Either way I'd love to hear your input.

Changing to an adjustable gas block helped mine out a lot. Being able to slow down the BCG will soften the recoil quite a bit. Mine will also keep the brass in a small area close to me instead of 15 feet at my 5 o'clock. I used a low profile AR15 one for .750 barrel on my LR308.
