AR10 magazines?

LR/SR style. I've got a couple of the Magpul that are longer to accept the M118LR rounds (2.830', MAG577, vs. the standard Pmag 2.820"), but anything else to consider when it comes to standard AR10 magazines as I look to get some additional magazines?

Anyone tried Lancer or Hexmag? I've used hexmag 5.56 magazines and saw they have a new 308 mag out now. Lancer uses metal feed lips if i'm not mistaken..

figured theres got to be some folks here that have used a variety of magazines in AR10 platforms..

Not much of a variety, but I'm using the Magpul and ASC brand in my PA10. The ASC are SS with a black coating and are a little tight in the magwell, but feed and function fine.

Use Magpul PMags with M118LR in my JP Enterprises LRP-07 .308.

I would say lancer mags are probably good, that's all I use on my 223/556 mags

I use Magpuls in my DPMS and PA10 . My Adams Arms SFR and it gets Lancer mags because it likes them better. Lancers will work in the others also; just more money. I'll have both a 10 and 20 round Magpul with me today in the woods in the DPMS with a can.

I'm not a fan of hexmags in their 5.56 flavor I can't imagine the 308 offering is any better.

Stick with magpul.
