I concur, out of my Savage FVSR and my dad's 10/22 they stay subsonic. Even on the box I think there is only 20 fps difference, the main difference is the standard is a RN, the subsonics I have are HP.

I use Federal Automatch Bulk Pack for my pistol shooting and it's been pretty good. A lot less issues than with other brands.

The point at which a projectile becomes supersonic is approximately 1125fps at sea level at a standard testing temperature of 20C/68F. Altitude and humidity will slightly alter this barrier. When I seek subsonic ammunition to feed my suppressor, I look for published velocities under 1100fps. To answer your question more directly, I find that every bulk pack of .22LR ammunition I have ever purchased was supersonic (NOT subsonic and suppressor friendly).
I've read/hear from quite a few that the bulk pack stuff (most of it's under 1200) will stay subsonic with 4.5" barrels. Much over that, and depending upon weather, specific ammo, and barrel length, it may/may not stay subsonic.
