Are some of us not meant to shoot striker fired pistols?

Once you shoot real good triggers, the Glock scrunch is ruined. I shoot Sigs (the real ones, not the plastic) better than Berettas, but I shoot 1911's best. Can't hit the broad side of a barn with a Glock. You know Glock copied the action of cheap pot metal guns like Jennings and Bryco, don't you? :D

Come on Grock fanatics, let's hear about it.

Any time you wanna do the torture test...bring your best non-Glock.

Are glocks the best shooting? No.
Are they the best looking? No.
Do they go bang every time you pull the trigger no matter what you do to them? You damn skippy!

I can shoot SA and DA but not the heavy DA then light SA. It's one or the other for me, not both. I like my M&P40c with the DCAEK trigger kit in it the most. I really wanted to love the P229 I had but that 10lb DA trigger was just AWFUL. Now, I could drive nails with the SA. I gotta have the same pull, each and every time. I still think the M&P has a better trigger than a Glock any day right out of the box. Looks like S&W has been paying attention to customer feed back because they have been slowly but surely improving the M&P's trigger. At the end of the day, carry what you shoot best and what you care comfortable carrying. There are plenty of rock solid reliable pistols out there, Glock's are not the be all-end all of reliable pistols.

Really? You must never read on Glocktalk.com.
Gen 4 Glock 9mm's are on what, their fourth or fifth spring design now?

I will agree that they f'd up perfection with the gen 4. Gen 3's are all that I will own and haven't had any problems with any of the four that I have owned. If I wanna shoot lead, no problem - $100 barrel will solve that...not that lead is even that common any more in 9 or 45.
