I wish I had 2 them. One to crap on and one to cover it up with!!! I honestly can't see the fad. It's a plastic handgun that some government agencies adopted and some where seen in movies. Then everybody went out and bought one of the ugliest guns ever produced and thought and think they have a wicked handgun. It's a 600 dollar low tier pistol. That's all. There are better looking handguns that are just as reliable and made out of steel. That is all!

I don’t think anyone has called them wicked or commented on their looks. For a defensive weapon, looks mean nothing.

I have lots of gorgeous guns. I love looking at them. I don’t carry them for self defense though, nor would I want to subject them to the wear and tear that comes from being carried all day everyday.

For my defensive pistols though, my number one priority is knowing without a doubt it will absolutely function 100% of the time no matter how harsh the environment.

They work.

In 30 years shooting glocks, I've had one part break. A g21 mag spring, magazine still worked.
I saw a mag explode once. The bottom broke sending ammo everywhere. It wasn't me. After that, I bought new mags to carry my duty ammo in and kept the old ones for the range. That way I didn't have to unload when I went to the range either. Then later they changed from 40 back to 9.........

You have a strong point there. And the weight reduction is a plus

Simplicity durability reliability relatively light weight 34 parts (not ergonomics or the trigger) GLOCK as a company in my experience is unparalleled in supporting their products and fun professional promotion and training I visit and learn from them often - they listen and respond to customer comments and perceived likes and dislikes
