Do y'all make it in a carboy or do it the fashioned way in a bucket?

Start it in a bucket, then transfer to a carboy. One of our members Wdawg makes a pretty mean hard cider too.

Right on, I'm about to get my press up and running. We have more apples, pears, blueberries, blackberries, grapes and scupendines then we can use every year...so, I'm about to put em to use

Before my grandpa died, he made peach pear brandy that was awesome. A small glass was enough to give you a decent buzz.

I've made wine from probably every fruit that grows in georgia and they are all good. I happen to not like sweet wines so I don't make Scuppernong wine any more, but everyone I ever gave some to loved it. Its too sweet. The only ones I will mess with any more are Pear and Blackberry. Man, pears make gooooood wine.

Me and a few others made some elderberry/blueberry mixed wine last year. It wasn't bad. Do you use yeast?

Pineapple makes a great wine . Had it in Japan and me and a friend made a batch up a few years ago

Tried to make some Muskadine wine and got a big batch of vinegar. There is a good ol boy up at the local pickin parlor that makes some mean stuff, so gonna try again with his lead. I think where i F'd up is exact timing on sitting, straining, transfer etc...

Sounds like a brilliant idea though.
