Is this new? I've seen open carry on more than one occasion in the Canton store and there's no doubt in my mind they were not police.

Handed over your weapon and they ran your information in the back room? I would have just left the store and not had to go through all of the invasion of privacy for doing something completely legal. That is just me, I would have handled it different.

Ive never had any problems in Walmart open carrying. Im glad the cops were cool.

The officers were professional and quite irritated and I had nothing to hide... Both the permit and weapon are already on the "GOVERMENTS - LIST", so I saw no harm in not causing a scene... I have found that professional compliance usally defuses a situation... (((But the thought was there)))

I guess my point is that I would not have felt the need to even wait around for them. If the security did not want you carrying there, I would have politely left instead of waiting. It does sound like you handled things with a level head and calmly, nothing wrong with that.

Exactly. I did not want to be "FELONY" stopped down the road because a security guard "Embellshed" his recollection of what transpired.... (((But then again, they would NEVERRRRRRR do that, right?)))

I guess my point is that I would not have felt the need to even wait around for them. If the security did not want you carrying there, I would have politely left instead of waiting. It does sound like you handled things with a level head and calmly, nothing wrong with that.
