Asked to leave WAL-Mart Tonight because of CC Rig Showing...

Think of the wording of concealed carry. Concealed means to cover from view. As much as it hurts guys, we can't give any anti-gun people anymore reason to rise up & cause us grief. Follow the laws of the state or any state you travel through. If you are a CC holder and stopped or questioned, do the right thing, watch what you say. Use some common sense. If you carry a hog leg on your belt you know you're wrong.
why would I want anyone to know that I'm carrying in the first place. If I can find the article I will post it .

A guy in Ohio who has a CCH, was walking to his car coming from a bank, he just made a substantial withdrawl. A guy walked up behind him took his gun and robbed him, took money & his gun. His was carrying his gun openly, not concealed.

He had know retention device on the holster, if he did it would not have been that easy to take his gun.
The way I see it , if he got my money and did not know I was carrying, I would shoot his ass when he turned to run away.

Who here has Concealed Carry License in Ga? Not me. Mine allows for OC/CC. Wise up my friend.

I don't mean for this to come across as rude to anyone or bashing LEO, but a lot of people need to realize there are ALOT of LEOs out there that don't even know the laws they are trying to enforce. It's your responsabilty to know the laws. I myself was told the same thing about open carry and the officer that told me that (and you!) is completly wrong. It's easy to find ga laws on gov. Sites here on the net. I strongly suggest you take the time to read actual laws rather than listen to a know nothing in a uniform and lose your freedom.
 
This is really discouraging that we still have people who hold a current Georgia Weapons License and still do not understand the laws pertaining to such license.

No what's discouraging is people who Are supposed to enforce laws don't even know them.

Because of this he didn't have a permit and walked around commiting a crime by not even having a GWL.
 
I have both OC'd and CC'd in both Wal-Marts near me (Acworth), without any problems. Although I was told once while purchasing ammo that if I had a firearm in my possession that they "are not allowed to sell me ammo." The funny thing is, during the same time that I was being told that they could not sell me ammo. There was a group of gang bangers (or so it seemed) that was next to me looking at the ammo in the display case, talking about killing rival gang members and what not... Needless to say, I was sold the ammo and so were the gang bangers. I asked the lady who sold me ammo if she was going to sell the ammo to the gang bangers and she said yes. WTF? Things like that really piss me off...

I agree w/ the spirit of most of your post & advise our students accordingly. It helps that in our classes an Officer who does know the laws pertaining to these matters as well as sensible tactics makes recommendations re: his OPINION of open vs. concealed carry but you might want to brush up on the 3 lawful occasions that you may use lethal force in Ga.
The last sentence you made does not sound like it would meet those requirements.
