Hi all,
My grandfather passed in 1988 and left me a Ranger 101.16 .22LR. It's been at my parents since, and I randomly asked about it tonight and my dad still had it! Anyone have info on this gun? From what I can tell, it's a Savage model 6, maybe, but made for Sears? It looks to be in decent shape, though there is some rust on the barrel. Any value (thinking no, other than sentimental)?
I know nothing about restoring guns, but would like to at least get the rust off the barrel. Any tips for that?
I can't wait to get back to Atlanta, clean this thing and take it shooting!
