Am I the only one? It makes my blood boil. Due to the nature of my job, occasionally on the weekends, I find myself rolling into a drivethrough if I'm going to eat that night. It's started in the past couple of years. I don't remember it prior to COVID, come to think of it. But today at an Arby's I pull up and pay and the dude says to pull up and wait. There's no one behind me at all, so I just sat there. A couple of seconds later he comes back and says "Sir, can you please pull up?" I looked in my mirror, noticed - again - that no one was behind me and I said "There's no one behind me." Kid rolls his eyes and says "Yeah, well, we're also on a timer." I said "What does that mean?" Rolls his eyes again and says "Nothing." Closes the window and walks away.

Definition of a first world problem, I know, but it drives me nuts. Almost as bad as getting my steak at the same time as my salad. Almost... :ranger:

Never would have guessed Arbys cared about metrics. Or any fast food joint for that matter.
I get it when they're busy. It still makes me mad, but I get it. My food isn't ready, but the car's behind me is, so pull up so they can get their food. But if there's nobody behind me and you're just trying to game the numbers so you look better? Nah, fam, we ain't even in the klerb.
