****Atlanta Falcons**** And The NFL In General

Didn't bother to watch the Falcons yesterday, but heard they lost due to a missed extra point 23-24. Can't believe they still have kicker issues. Oh wait - yes I can.

Sheez.... Atlanta has become the hard luck team of the NFL. Everyone else looks forward to playing the Falcons since they expect an easy win.

Falcons may end up drafting very high next year. I expect more losses and eventually a new coach.

Just embarrassing to the whole franchise. Guess after the historic SB loss, it doesn't matter.
Seems like I heard this very same complaint in 1967....good thing they continue to this day, to be consistent!!! They have that going for them!!!

Think of how that win could have changed the fortunes of the team. But they lost...... :drum:
AND...we all know why they lost......"that win could have changed the fortunes of the team"....way too much pressure....it's easier being everybody's whipping dog, until near the end of the season, WHEN....they will win JUST enough games to miss the good draft pick....I refer you to the comment.....AND...the cycle continues....which started 06/30/1965....AND continues to this day....Lindsey Hopkins was supposed to get the franchise.....the Smith's side saddled the pick somehow....THE SMITHS....never was there a dumber group of family members....I'm not sure Rankin could actually tie his shoes....BUT...he sure knew how to spend daddy's money!!!

Even if they manage to win today, their season is really over. Just playing for the statistics book from now on. Bucs look to be in the driver's seat.

Not even watching them....

"The Falcons have won the NFC Championship twice, in 1998 and 2016, and have the seventh-worst playoff win-loss percentage in NFL history. Since 2006, the Falcons have a record of 156 wins and 160 losses".....along with a 2 billion++dollar home to play/loose in.......
US$1.6 billion (projected)($2.05 billion in 2024 dollars[10])

So, you mean to say they are/will be playing hard to make sure they loose good draft picks???
I shouldn't put words you your posts.....THAT'S WHAT I SAID....THERE, I SAID IT
