Auto knife otf question

I have one that costs $5
The pricey ones have little to no wiggle when extended and can retract automatically as well. Pretty sure they have to be hand fit to lock as well as they do.
Mainly, they are fun for the giggle factor.

Mine goes back in as well, and I can giggle all day long for 5 bucks
I use to be able to buy the plastic handled, cheap pot metal hardware, with a decent 440 stainless blade auto otf knives at the guns shows and knife shows for around $15-$20 . The last 10+ years I haven't seen them at all. Wish I could find them again...they were fun, they were cheap and they worked. Granted the spring had a safety on it.....if it met any resistance on deployment it would disconnect....causing you to have to pull the blade to reset it. But once it was out it locked.

There are a lot of tiny pieces that go inside the knives and they are like putting together a watch!
