Copperhead I caught and played with for a little while. Using my super macro setting I had to get about 1 inch away from his nose for this pic. I love snakes!

Froggy that lived in the pvc drinking pipe at the farm I used to work at. We’d flush him out every morning when we took a drink and he’d be right there the next morning.

Little diamondback I caught. Kept him for about a week. This was taken when I released him. I was uncomfortably close for this pic as well considering he was in striking position. I was about 18” away using a macro setting. I never kill snakes... Even poisonous ones. They all serve a purpose. I find them fascinating.
