This pic is from my security camera. Not real clear. This raccoon has a fish hook caught in his mouth with the line and bobber hanging out. Arrow shows white bobber in pic.

Have been trying for the last four days to get close enough to help him. This is as close as he will come to me.

Set up traps but he was trying to get food out from the side of the cage and got line tangled up somehow. Just as I got out there he managed to break free from the cage and scared him off. Saw him again last night but now he is avoiding me and cage. Still is attached to hook. He can open his mouth barely enough to get some food in.

Have found a rescue place that will help him if I can catch him. If I cannot catch him, guess I will have to put him down.

This boy makes me proud! Every time he hears the National Anthem, he stands with his hand on his heart and listens. I was watching the beginning of Monday night football and I looked over to see him like this.
