and a tiny crescent moon..
One of the 5 places in my yard growing wild onions. They cover more area every year.
A couple of pics from Fort Mountain State Park today.
We saw our first Bear of the year in the State Park. It's been a while - since late July of last summer.
Julie spotted a couple of holes in a hillside, thinking they may be dens dug out by the resident bears. I can see that. It sure doesn't look like they could be caused by natural water erosion alone. But still kind of cool if actual bear dens.
We dunno, but we're interested in hearing from more experienced folks on ODT on these horizonal holes in the side of a hill.
Update on those holes after a bit of searching the web. Looks like there was some gold and talc mining there back in the day. These holes on the hill side might be remnants of that mining.
