1680 will cycle subs reliably. Nice barrel choice, those are some top notch tubes. I'm waiting on Rainer SPR 18" ultra match.

Indeed they are great barrels. If im not mistaken the ultra match is a schillian blank machined by rainer and their metal is second to none.
Whatever you decide to try, with subs, always shoot them up close into paper so you can check for the stability of the projectile. This should help blowing out the baffles if you don't have a stable projectile.

Sometimes, you just get baffle or end cap strikes. I've had one from quality supersonic ammo out of a quality barrel and threading. If you shoot enough suppressed, you're bound to have something happen.

1-8 is fine, I run the same twist in a 9inch.
Good info forsure, I have found lots of load data from several companies on the web but im old school and wish I could find a book with all the info. I couldn't find a lyman or sierra book with 300 BLKOUT loads.
Look and see if they have any 300 whisper loads.....and if they separate rifle and pistol look for pistol loads
Ok color me silly. Isnt there a difference?
Yes, no, no, yes. There IS a difference in case specs as to where you should not use whisper brass in a blk chamber due to case dimensions being longer in the neck on whisper. But the loads between the two are very similar if not the same.
