Ballistic Wax?

Has anyone here made and used their own ballistic wax? What were your results? Good, bad, messy or what?

The reason I am interested in wax instead of ballistic gel is because it can be reused and can be used at room temp.

I was bored and was doing a random search but I really would like an answer to this plus it was the oldest one I found.

You can remelt ballistics gel and reuse it. you can also use knor gellitan to make it, I've caught 7mm rem mag bullets with it before google ballistics gel recipe, essentially you buy a ton of gellitan and mix it with water until it's the consistency of grits then put it in a pan and slowly melt it over a pot of boiling water and pour into your mold. Once you're done shooting it re melt it over the boiling water, pick out the chunks of lead and dirt then remold it.
