Finally, the state has extended the season for all zones till 2/10, without any break in the season.
My property is just across the line for the southern zone (dividing line is I-85) and we've missed the rut.... Now, its GAME ON!

Yes. And now they've also implemented a mandatory game check system... It's been voluntary in the past

Yup... We'd get plenty of daylight photos of shooter bucks in February and March. Heck, we're even seeing fresh scrapes the first of turkey season.

Is there much Dog hunting in your area. I know that when
we had a lot of dog hunters it pushed our rut out, I saw chasing turkey season.
