Help me out Brothers.
I need to get a scope on this 80’s model plain Jane Browning BAR sporting rifle.
It currently has a crappy scope and a set of cheap rings on it with the rear ring windage adjustment and the front ring pivots.
Sound great in theory but it’s all over the map and will not stay put from one shot to the next.
I need to find a good set of rings and a reliable hunting scope.
Most of my hunting will be Georgia mountains so I won’t be shooting past 100 yards in most cases although with the leaves down I may need to reach out ridge to ridge on rare occasions and great low light collecting glass is a must.
Budget roughly a grand or so.
