Considering the socomb melonite for my first ar I'm building, is 2.5 pounds too heavy ? I'll be using it for target shooting and hunting .

How did it group? I have their 10.5", but havent really group it yet. It puts rounds on paper at 100yds with just bore sighting it, but I havent really tested it yet.
