Battery drain problem

What Joel said to do. You will need a amp probe to measure the current drain on the battery then start pulling fuses until the current drain stops. You will need a schematic to see what is on that circuit then start isolating those one by one. He didn't have any after market items installed lately?

Grandson’s 2015 Chevy Colorado drains battery. Daughter gets 2 different new battery and it will drain in about 2 days.
How do we fix this?
Last couple of Chevys I encountered with this problem were stuck horn relays.
Folks just unplugged the horns instead of pulling the fuse. Horn activating mechanism in the steering wheel disintegrated causing them to blow randomly.

Check with your dealership for open recalls.
Not sure of the specific models or years, but there have been issues with the onstar module causing battery drain or an over the air update for the radio causing battery drain overnight.

Hate to ask this but do they have one of those insurance activity monitors installed in their OBDII port? Those things are evil in many ways but they are a parasitic draw, upwards of 3/4 of an amp when it's just sitting there idle.

Get an amp reading with a digital multimeter. Remove one battery terminal and put multimeter inline. Start pulling fuses/relays until you have minimal m/a draw. Anything over 100 m/a then you still have to much draw.
