Becks beer on the cheap

Publix has Becks starting today at 5 something a six pack and its buy one get one. Dont know if its drinkable but it;s cheap

Becks isn't on my top 5 list but I don't remember ever drinking a bad one.
Buy one get one? I didn't even know you could do that with alcohol.

I don't think you can in Georgia at retail. All outlets are supposed to be offered the same promotions and deals if memory serves and the laws haven't changed.

Yup, can't sell cheaper than what was paid. Most likely a promotion if they bought a large amount.

If so, it's on them (Publix) to eat the cost of the promotion. The distributor cannot fund that for Publix and not offer the same deal to all retail outlets in their territory.

It's been a while since I sailed across the Atlantic but if I remember correctly it took less than a week and that was on a USN ship that wasn't in a hurry.
I imagine commercial vessels make better time.
Maybe it was around 2 weeks...I don't remember.

Though it originated in Bremen and is still produced at Braueri Beck, the Beck's sold here in the U.S. has been made in St. Louis since 2012
