1 oz Centennial - Boil 30 min
1 oz Citra - Boil 15 min
1 oz Amarillo Gold - Boil 10 min
2 oz Amarillo Gold - Boil 0 min
2 oz Simcoe - Boil 0 min
3 oz Simcoe - Dry Hop 7 days

I agree some IPA's are hoppy for the sake of being hoppy. My opinion is that if you add a lot of hops, you need to add just as much sweet to balance it out.

Is is harder to brew stout style beers (cream, milk or oatmeal style) at home than most others or just a different combo of ingredients? Just curious I know nothing of home brewing.

Ahh I've been to your place several times. I like the grain bank feature so I can buy bulk grain and not have to hump the remainder of a 50-55 lb bag. Great package beer selection as well. I grabbed a 4-pack of the Red Brick Beard Envy last time and it was excellent!

As far as the OP, that's a great beer! I'm lucky enough to have had it straight from the source. Ironically I have a buddy who lives in Sonoma that posted a picture on Facebook yesterday of side by side glasses of Pliny the Elder & Pliny the Younger.......Lucky bastard!!!
