Best 9mm? Do you agree with this list?

Looks like the list has more to do with price then quality of the firearm or anything other then that. Don't think any of the pistols there are over $600. Missing several 9mm pistols that would make my listen of the best 9mm pistols as well as several which I wouldn't even throw in the running.

i think they stay under 600 with that rating , but to each is own i guess, i go for feel when i buy new and plan on keeping . . . the gen 4 glock is outta the ? for me

Looks like the author was very biased, but understandably its hard not to be with guns. My opinion is, setting a product's reliability and warranty to the side, the best 9mm would be the one that fits the most comfortable in your hand and that you're going to WANT to shoot so that you get familiar with it. Now with that being said, here's my very biased opinion - love the Glocks (especially in that you can start with a .40 frame and drop a 9mm conversion barrel and mag in and shoot 9mm) but my favorite so far has been the S&W M&P full-sized.

Well, yeah, I think there is a $600 cap or something on the guns he's got listed. Which is fine for my purposes as I'm not in the market for a $1000 Super Elite Blackwater Tactical P226. The most glaring omission in my opinion is the Hipower, which would be my top choice...but you can't touch a new one for less than $700 and no one seems to be selling them used.

My short list right now includes the PT92 or Beretta 92. And while it's not on the list, the PT911 is apparently related to the PT917 that did make the list. The Bersa Thunder looks interesting and I can get it new for around $400 delivered. And although I'm not really into polymer guns, the SIG 2022 and P250 both made the list and have intrigued me very much. Not interested in any of the Ruger or S&W polymers.

You took my input. The Browning Hi Power is as fine a shooter as I, myself, have ever had the pleasure. It is an honor for me to be able to take mine to the range and stretch it out.

But as far as the list.....put up a poll of the top 10 cars, steak houses or movies. Its all subjective and there is no RIGHT answer.

Fire at ranges that have rental guns and find friends. See what works for YOU.

I am sure thats not the answer you were looking for, but it's the one I gave. LOL

I've never fired a CZ...but it looks like I will have to now !! Dammit
