I really really want the CZ SP01 Shadow....but I can buy a Glock 34 and a XDM Comp for the price those things are going for almost. Kinda leaning towards the Glock...Maybe some trigger work and fiber optic sights and call it a day

Get the one you want. I've had the Shadow and the Tactical and have a G34. The CZ's outshoots the Glock all day.

I'd go with the XDM 9mm 5.25. Shoots great and isn't as heavy as the CZ75. both are amazing weapons tho.

I thought you wanted something for competition not plinking.. I consider a 22 a plinking firearm. anything else is a bit more serious.


If you want a full on race gun then get one. Just seems to me the competition you are talking about is aimed at making you more competent in an actual gun fight thus my carry gun recommendation.

Sorry, I just refer to plinking as shooting with my buddies. The only competition I do is bowling pins up at trigger time.
