Best and worst Blue Chip gun purchases

Here's one - back during the OD green Glock craze I traded two different green Glocks, both with factory sights - for identical guns in black, with night sights, plus 200 each.

It helped to balance out some of my dumber trades over the years.

That was a good one for sure! I like black Glocks anyway!

I've had some really good trades and I've really lost out on others. It evens itself out like you say lol

I'm in Panama City having fried shrimp in a spicy roumalade...

Still wrapping my head around these seafood places here that don't serve hush puppies unless you order them on the side...

Meant to post that in "things that nobody cares about". ;)

Got a WWI German GEW 98 for $300!

CMP Field Grade ME1 TE 2 $550!

All Winchester component M1 Carbine $685!

Snagged an SVT-40 with sniper notch for $1,000

K43 AC44 for $1,350

Traded a Field Grade Garand for a Luxembourg FN 49

Traded a Browning Hi Power for a Colt Model 1917

WWI Colt 1911 for $850

Bad:

Eddystone off Gunbroker with broken ejector and no internal magazine box.

One of my best deals was my Russian Tigr that I picked up from Clyde Armory before they moved into the new building. Had it for $2000 and I walked out with it for $1800. Sold it later for $2300.

Traded a busted PSL for 2 Egyptian Hakims and a crate of 8mm.

The good? Once traded a POS boat and trailer that was abandoned on my property for a 55" plasma TV, which I turned around and traded for Smith model 442...
But didn't make up for the bad...
Traded a dirtbike that I paid $2500 for an '81 Chevy stepside that was easily worth $3500 (in my mind at least). Couldn't sell the Chevy so I traded it for a Kimber super carry pro... Love that gun though! I also kept crashing the dirtbike and hurting myself, so I actually SAVED money in hospital trips (my justification)
