Best and worst gun stores in northeast ga

This^^ I am always in there. I know some don't like them, but I have always been treated well. Sometimes they are busy and you just have to wait your turn.
They don't come across that great at first, but they are helpful and will take care of you. If you don't initiate, they will let you walk around the store for an hour without talking to you. Can't say that bothers me, but I know it gives some people the wrong impression.

Best - Athens Gun Club / Sporting Arms hard to beat good old Jerry
Worse=Franklins- on your next job you could put down that you was a proctologist if you ever had to deal with these guys

Best is Ga Gun Store hands downs. Excellent prices, great customer service and great selection of defense and tactical weapons/gear. They do carry hunting firearms but not their main offer to the table. All around favorite place to be when I have extra cash flow. Mike and Kellie are great!

When I'm needing hunting ammo it's gotta be Outdoor Depot. Their prices are Ridiculous BUT they have a large selection of ammo and firearms. If you are looking for something specific they may have it, but you'll pay for it twice. But the staff is awesome. Great folks.

Foxhole is great as well. Staff is top notch. They carry a good selection of everything. They have always given me the MOST for my trades and their prices are competitive.

Worst gun store... Ummm BPS :)

I'm a creature of habit. Once I find my sources I very rarely branch out and try anything different.

Best is Foxhole and Georgia gunstore, both in Gainesville, and the Gun Room in Winder. Won't even go in the door at Bullseye or Clydes. Went in TSG a couple of weeks ago and the young guy there acted like he never even knew I wuz in the store. Went to Sporting Arms in Winterville once. A little out of the way for me but definatley worth the drive. I couldn't believe how much stuff they had in that building.

Gable's in Douglasville is one of my favorites. They aren't a mega-store but always have a good selection at great prices. Always have time to stop and talk and if I buy a rifle and want a scope they help me pick out the best one for the rifle, the will mount it and bore sight it at no cost other than the scope and rings. They also have a separate archery section and the guy there knows his stuff. He can custom tune a bow and tell you everything you ever want to know. I bought a long bow from him and we spent some time talking about arrows. He hand assembled a set of practice arrows for me and then sold me the broadpoints to replace the target points and told me exactly how the different point would affect the shot. Everyone is very helpful and they sell all sorts of great sports equipment, even kids ball uniforms and shoes.

Best store would be Dicks. No contest

trading places pawn in monroe is usually my go-to, pretty spot on with prices/service. They did a pretty sweet cerekote job for my sister in laws gun and they have a great range, not including you can rent full autos for pretty cheap as well.

worst might be dead center in buford, high prices and overall un-welcoming vibe.
Agree, Trading Place in Monroe - Friendly and helpful employees, competitive prices and a good inventory!
