Wow, I guess I’ve been doing it wrong most of my life!!! I would never use .223 to hunt deer. I’ve used a 3006 most of my life here in Georgia. I will try to do better from now on.

It’s not so much the caliber it’s about bullet placement. Where neck meets shoulder always been good shoot placement for me . 90 percent time drop in tracks. Soft point bullets.
