Interesting Why the 7-08 hatekilled most deer with a 270. shoot a 308 opening weekend and then hunt with my 350 Legend. Caliber I hate the most is a 7m08.
I had a 25/06 and never shot it. Sold it. Now I want a lefty 25/06. Idk why25-06. Up close or out to couple hundred yards plus.
Got the same gun, Used it a lot in Louisiana marshes for deer and hogs. Never had a problem dropping them in there tracks. Going to bring it this Dec for pigs on my sons lease.I haven’t seen 44 mag mentioned on here yet so I will. I have a Ruger 44 mag carbine that works great in most places I hunt up to 100 yds I have had great success with it.
