Best Guitarist You Ever Saw in Person

I read the book on SRV. And it stated that Bowie put a screw job on Stevie. When the video came out for "Let's Dance" Bowie screwed him out of being in the video and pretty much took credit for Stevie's guitar work.

My fave SRV tracks have to be "Chage It" and "Texas Flood".

I have no clue. I was say 10-12 during those days.
I know in the music biz, that it's widely publicized that that opening riff is Vaughn. And just like any business, it was most likely publicist and producers and not Bowie.

We used to watch his fingers bleed in the basement

His rendition of Voodoo Chile is burned into my memory.

Dang, I keep remembering shows I went to.

Me and my dad got drunk and saw Johnny Winter down in Ft Lauderdale. That guy could set a fretboard on fire.

#1- Duane Allman hands down. No one can ever touch him. You guys don't know what you're missing.

#2- Jimi Hendrix

#3- Johnny Winter. He's the only guy I ever saw that could play rhythm, lead and slide all at the same time.
