Best metal frame 9mm

I've got the itch for a metal framed full sized 9mm. I don't want a 1911/2011 style. I would like to be able to get a threaded barrel to shoot suppressed. Good aftermarket support is a must! I like to tinker with things. Use will be a range toy.

Sometimes I regret selling that $250 CZ 75B I once had....

If you had a budget of $1200 what would you buy and why?

Ha!! Well this one might be harder for you to come by. BUT if you can get a chassis you need to look into the 365 raider.

You just spent a lot of words to say "I want a CZ..."

AFAIK, they invented the DA/SA auto in 1975, though I'm sure I'll quickly hear about it if I'm wrong about that.

They make solid guns, and have had 50 years to work out the kinks. Holsters are readily available, and depending on what flavor you get, they can have a SA trigger as good as any 1911. Ever heard anyone complain about their CZ? There's a reason.

Beretta, Sig, S&W
Carried several different metal frame guns over the years, but now I carry a plastic SIG 365-XL.
