Best metal frame 9mm

Currently still made - CZ75 series guns (shadow 2 etc).

No longer made although I wish they'd bring em back - Smith and Wesson 5906/4506/etc 3rd Gen and 2nd Gen metal frame da/sa pistols. I love Berettas and CZ, but the 5906 by Smith and Wesson isy favorite metal frame pistol. CZ is practical since at least the 75 series guns are still made. 5906 pistols on the other hand are no longer made which is a shame to me they are my favorite metal frame autoloader.

I'm not gonna lie I want a Dan Wesson DWX if I had the money. It's a 1911 and CZ 75 fusion.

I've got the itch for a metal framed full sized 9mm. I don't want a 1911/2011 style. I would like to be able to get a threaded barrel to shoot suppressed. Good aftermarket support is a must! I like to tinker with things. Use will be a range toy.

Sometimes I regret selling that $250 CZ 75B I once had....

If you had a budget of $1200 what would you buy and why?
Getchu an M&P 2.0 metal.
They recently announced steel frames in addition to aluminum.
Factory threaded options available
Plenty of aftermarket support.

CZ's are nice but when you're carrying or at the range with one everybody knows you like your coffee sweet and you care if the beans were fair trade or not.
While I shouldn't encourage you, "fair trade" coffee is garbage. Good coffee costs far more than the "fair trade" price, so can't get the "fair trade" silly logo, since they pay the farmers TOO MUCH. : )

Never met a gun owner who cared about such things as the "fair trade" logo, but know lots that like good coffee.

And coffee tastes better with sugar. I'm off to polish my Vespa now.

And nowadays you need to price extra mags for whatever you decide on..it's crcrazy.
Yep, that's definitely something to factor in, but Mec-gar makes great mags for a huge number of popular pistols, and last I checked, they were still surprisingly reasonable.

Often, when you buy your gun the magazines you get in the box were manufactured by Mec-Gar too.
