Same here, but on a western hunt we’d be hurtinEh…it’ll buff out. I have a 20lb PRS rifle as my primary deer / hog slayer. Just got to get the bench and squat numbers up and they get easy to carry (not saying you do, just for the general hunter). I carry it to my stand which is about a mile in like a jaded M60 gunner in Vietnam. lol

I bought the B14 ridge for hunting and LR…I wish it had a removable magazine….decent compromise…I do like the stock of the HMR better for LR
What Bergara are you looking at? Just saying "Bergara" is being very vague, with a wide selection with accompanying price range.
I'd recommend buying a rifle for each separate task. You're losing something in each spectrum by trying to get a one-size-fits-all.
Additionally, the power range of my long rage scopes is hugely different from my hunting rifles.
I assumed the B14 HMR. Seems to be their most popular.
OP whatchuwant?
That's correct. B1A HMR, TIKKA UPR, AND DD DELTA 5. THOSE ARE THE OPTIONSI assumed the B14 HMR. Seems to be their most popular.

I didn't want to assume, especially since that would be comparing a $970 Bergara to a $1700 and up DD.
