I would love that some day but at this point I need something that will be reliable and probably more modern/comfortable.there is the old school thought, get an old drop top stang, Triumph TR6...MGB.Fiat 185 spider, Alpha Romero..Jaguar xj12 drop top and well within price range they just are more it fiddle tune with
I don't care for the looks of the third gen NC models where they tried to give them a more aggressive look. The first gen NA models have more of a classic look with the flip up headlights and have probably bottomed out on prices. Will probably be more collectible. The 2nd gen NB models have a little more power but were heavier. Different look with the exposed headlights. Depends on what body style you like. If you get a 2nd gen I would go for the 02-05 with the VVT engine.Ok Miata guys.. I know nothing about them. Which one would you buy and why?
3 series coupe is a serious consideration. Are BMW's more reasonable on maintenance/ reliability? I can do a lot myself but not the really serious stuff.then the other thought is a drop top 325/330 BMW well within that range as well
2002-2006 Ford Thunderbird. V8 fun. More of a cruiser, not really a sports car, but they hold value and look great. Plus, a hard top convertible.
Have had that car for 30 years and did a full restoration on it myself. That car is going nowhereyou going to sell that for what hes looking for?

the 3.9 is actually quite quick just not much of a handlerNot a hard top convertible.. A convertible with an added hardtop, big difference
