HA! I like snakes and typically leave them be, but if you think Canebrakes are docile, you've only met them when they're cold. When they're all warmed up they are some of the most ill tempered critters around.

I’ve had them numerous times come to the boat at the lake shooting docks,the Taurus judge usually changes his mind.if you ever go and get in pontoon that stays on water you need to pay attention

Just last week I was fishing a small lake in my yak and saw one across the cove from me. It's head was so big and the part of the body above the water was so thick that my first thought was "otter". I left that cove. He was the last thing I wanted to get into a turf war with.
