I was working on a water system in a dank well pump house when I heard this one walking across the wall towards me, it positioned itself about a foot away and just watched me do my thing.

I had to edit it after I posted it. Hard to do on a phone.
I had a Mexican Red Leg tarantula for about 10 yrs ….. my brother was into all kinds of snakes and critters and gave him to me. He was pretty cool.
They shed, and the skin looks just like the live spider. You can’t tell them apart until one moves !
That thing had fangs as big as huge cat claws !! I would feed him crickets, small goldfish, all kinds of stuff.

Give her and her babies a good drink of gasoline
Looks like a Tiger Wolf spider. Shoo it away, it won't come back. She'll die soon after the eggs hatch. Very beneficial to have around. All the baby spiders will move on or be eaten by something bigger
One of these things ran up my arm and bit me when I was a little kid. That might be my earliest memory. The only critters that I really hate are spiders.
