Black and Decker kaboom

I've had this Walmart Black and Decker buffer for a few years and used it only a few times. Today I buffer a fender and started on the hood when KABOOM! and parts flew everywhere. I felt some plastic hit my legs and heard something hit the wall with force. I looked around and found the counterweight sheered off and blasted through the side of the buffer. Luckily it didn't hit me in the goober. This would have been an entirely different thread.

It only had a one year warrantee of course.

I was just looking at ryobi and craftsman 10" random orbitals last week. They are super cheap comparably. Not sure how long they will hold up.

Unfortunately B&D isn't what they used to be. They may still make some good tools, but it's not every tool
