Somewhere out there in that great expanse of space, millions of years from now, some little life form who monitors electromagnetic transmissions is gonna say to his mother, "Mom, some a-hole leader on planet Earth just said his relative was eaten by cannibals".
Remembering may be 35+ years ago when my daughter was young, snippets of a Dr. Suess TV show entitled, "Herman Hears A Who"-
Herman hears a Who. "We are here! We are here! We are here!" And then Herman's friends repeat, "Boil that dust speck! Boil that dust speck!" And all the while that tiny dust speck was a planet full of people in a solar system who voiced their displeasure about being boiled. And they all screamed in unison and Herman heard a tiny voice and saved their world.
