A keeper for sure!!

I was given this hand me down but unfortunately it was after he passed. I know nothing about it other than it's a 1918 that was made under license by Remington. I have the original grips and holster. I'm trying to locate a two tone mag at a fair price but have had no luck.
It also came with an Ace conversion kit still in the cardboard box.

hold on to this one, if original you have one of the more desirable and pricy 1911's. they only made about 20k Remington UMC guns

Great link, thanks! My serial number is low 4 digit and preceded by an x but I have not found any arsenal marks as of yet. I'll have to do some more research later tonight!

I like how the bottom of the grip is chipped. Hopefully it cracked the skull of some Nazi sympathizer. Pew, pew, pew............merica!
