Bought a unicorn...but she's missing her horn

Sort of. Found one of my unicorns, a Winchester 94AE trapper, saddle-ring, large loop, 16", .44Mag (used). Got her home and realized she wouldn't eject. Detail stripped it down and found NO EJECTOR SPRING. Gone. Just gone. I hate people. Anyway, ordering a new one. Anyone else ever have something like this happen?

I've also got a Winchester 1892 in .357 Mag. My favorite rifle I own.
