If you’re buying cheap optics, however, it’s a good idea to pay attention to the warranty. There’s a decent chance you’ll have to use it.

Why exposed turrets?
If you are using them at the range ( tracking ) then, you’re going to need to spend the bigger bucks.

I like to keep the center of the cross hairs on my target at range. Although I don't shoot real long ranges with the custom turret I will get I can just dial in the range and it takes the guess work out of it.

Me being one of those people that used the warranty. The dang windage turret failed completely. Sent me a new scope, a hat and a Vortex pin I put on my hat.

I agree on that warranty. I like one I never have to use

Meopta Optika 6, pst gen 2, arken ep series, bushnell elite tac, bushnell match pro ed, Ravens are getting good reviews, bushnell lrhs, Burris XTR 1,2,3. I can keep going. There are options. Lots of them. Most of these are Jap glass out of LOW.

Improvements? Better reticle. 10 mil + rev turrets, zero stops, glass and coatings, durability, illumination options, more windage and elevation, better turret design, better erector housings.

Just stop dude. You're over your head.

None of that is going to increase your ability to dial and hit. Some you mentioned are not proven long term and are the cheap China I referenced. Nice do-dads are fun, but they're not really improvements. And they cost to make, which means if it's coming in at the same price, they're cutting elsewhere. Usually, it's quality of basic components and/or substandard labor. Sacrificing those does affect your long term reliability.

The reason I asked was because I was expecting to learn of something new. Typing out of your backside doesn't really accomplish anything.

Of your stated choices, that's the solid one. But you are upping your price past some options that are equivalent for range use. Sightron and SWFA have those options. They're not cheap Chinese and will last long term. Your other options may work at first, but will not long term.
